Get yourself a Bible, read and study it. Pray to God and ask Him to help guide you in understanding what you are reading. How do you pray to God?
Talk to him the same as you would to your best friend. Go to a trusted Christian friend or minister and ask them to study with you. Open your heart and mind to the teachings you read about in the Bible. Be obedient to the instructions that you read in the New Testament written in the first century.
Mark 16:15-16 says: "Then he (Jesus) said "Go into the world and preach the good news to all creation, whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." (NIV) Baptism is crucial to your salvation.

Being a believer taps you into an incredible life. A life of love, forgiveness, and service to others. It taps you into help from the Spirit of God who will continue to teach you, guide you, and mold you into the person God wants you to be. It also taps you into the "Word of God" (the Bible) which gives life and clarity to this dead and confused world.
