Each Sunday morning immediately after services there are men and women called Prayer Warriors, who can be identified by the badges they will be wearing, to pray with you or for you. If you have needs of any kind or know someone who needs prayers, or if you have prayers of Thanksgiving…or any kind of prayers that you would like to have someone pray with you about, take advantage of this opportunity. It is strictly confidential…those who are available are caring, concerned, godly folks, who will maintain strictest confidence…but are willing to pray for or with you about anything you feel you would like to pray about. God tells us to pray in so many verses…in so many circumstances. We must be a praying people…so if you have need, please avail yourself of this prayer time. They usually are at the back of the auditorium but can be found anywhere in the building. Also there is a box in the hallway by the nursery for you to write a request on and it will be prayed about in the Wed evening meeting and other times when we gather to pray. Please avail yourself of this ministry.
For those of you who are reading this on the internet web page and feel the need of prayer warriors please call the church office and you will be referred to one of the prayer warriors who will assist you in any way they can.
Also for anyone who would like to join us, each Wed evening at 6:15, there are some of us who meet at the building to pray for half an hour, for many things, both personal and church family related, for our nation and anything that we need to talk to God about….there are always many things we discuss with Him. We invite you to join us in room 103, at 6:15 pm to 6:45 pm., to spend some time with God.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6
Daily Prayer Requests for July 20 to July 27, 2008
Sunday - Pray that we will remember today that Life is about God. God is the Creator of all, and all of creation, (including me and you) exists to bring Him glory. Pray that we each will ask "How can I live my life in such a way today that brings God the most glory?"
Monday - Pray for Tony Snow's loved ones as news has come that the former White House Press Secretary died last weekend. President Bush called for prayer for the family and expressed how deeply this godly man will be missed. Pray for comfort, strength and the grace of God to be real for them, and for the testimony of his extraordinary faith to impact many. May we all seek to comfort those who have lost loved ones recently and not forget their sadness.
Tuesday - As we look to the
elections this fall, it is sometimes difficult for us to know what is
true and what is not. We struggle to discern outcomes from the words
that candidates speak. May our nation be bathed in God's truth
throughout this election season. Ask that He grant a discerning spirit
to His people that we may not follow the one who is most attractive,
brave, clever or charming, but that we may long for and ultimately
discern the truth with His help.
Wednesday - Pray for the men and women of our Armed
Forces, especially troops in Northeastern Afghanistan
as militants breached a vital US outpost there last weekend, killing
nine. Pray for increased security there and for comfort for the loved
ones of those killed.
Thursday - Pray for our nation's food supply as this summer's salmonella outbreak continues with over 1,000 cases now reported. Pray for those who are researching the causes, and for all who have been impacted to heal quickly. Help us to realize the great blessing of abundant food.
Friday - Pray for families this week. Many of them are under attack and under great stress. Pray that God will bless them and strengthen the young families in our church and across our nation. Ask that the Lord help and aid them in overcoming difficulties and carrying crosses. Ask for help that our family life to lead only to Jesus, the source of true happiness. Pray for wholesome habits for our families.
Saturday - Ask God, our Father to protect our children, Keep them safe from harm and help them to grow healthy in mind and body. Ask Him to give them enough strength to keep their faith in Him, and give them joy.
Sunday - God reaches out in love to us and wants us to be His children. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." Ask that many will choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive their sins and come in to their life as your Lord and Savior. Ask for help for us to recognize and be bold in sharing our faith with those around us who are seeking Him.
